Well, we did it! We completed our first home swim meet in 2 years and it felt good to be back! I got goosebumps hearing those kids doing cheers before the meet! We might not have won the meet - but I know I saw a lot of best-time stars being given out tonight!

Now it's time to get ready for Thursday night. 

First - Please, please we NEED people to stay and help with tear down. I personally got home at 10 PM and coaches, lifeguards, and a few parents still remained at the pool finishing up. It should not take that long and coaches work hard the whole day of a meet and shouldn't have to help with tear down. You can roll up a cord, push a cart to the shed, carry chairs and tables to the back...we need you! The more help we get - the quicker we can all get out of there. 

Next - concession donations are now open. PLEASE NOTE: WE ADDED MORE ITEMS SO WE WILL NEED MORE PEOPLE TO SIGN UP. 

While you are signing up for donations, please look over the rest of the needs for volunteers. It takes a lot of people to help run a swim meet. No matter what area you help - you will be able to stop and watch your child swim.
