We are in the home stretch with our final week of regular practices, final dual meet, Divisionals, and Banquet on the calendars (which means it won't be long until you won't be hearing from me!)

Lampeter-Strasburg Meet

Congratulations on the 277-153 win over Lampeter-Strasburg on Thursday night. The results are attached. It's exciting to see so many best times still this late in the season!

Overlook Dual Meet

There are just a few volunteer needs for our last dual meet at Overlook. 

• 2nd half finish judge
• 2 2nd half stagers
• 1 2nd half stroke and turn judge

Also, if you weren't at the Overlook Relays (or even if you were) just a reminder that Overlook is not running a concession stand this year, just using the Overlook Pool Concession stand so the menu is limited. 

Lost and Found and Items for Sale

This week during practices I am going to try to put out the few lost and found items we have (we try to keep ours separate from the pools -which btw, is now located near the bathrooms and they will only hold items for 1 week anymore). We also have a few youth t-shirts from this year still available - reduced to $5. 

Divisionals

Swim Night at the Lancaster Barnstormers

Wednesday July 27th will be Swim Night at the Lancaster Barnstormers when they play the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. Swimmers of teams receive free admission and parents/family members receive discounted tickets at $10 each. A flyer with more information and how you can order your tickets is attached. 

Manheim Township Age Group Fall Camp and Swim Team

This fall the Manheim Township High School swim team will be offering a competitive swim camp for Manheim Township residents in Grades one through twelve. The camp will be run by the MTHS coaching staff. Please see the attached flyer and medical release for more information. 

Registration is also open for the 2022-2023 MTAG Swim Program season. The information sheet, emergency form (this serves as the registration form), and medical release forms are attached. The emergency form and medical release form need to be filled out in order for swimmers to be registered. The team will be capped at 150 swimmers. Any additional swimmers will be added to a waiting list.

Camp Optimist Service Trip

Finally - Coach Jack and some parents took a group of Lead Crew to Conestoga Pines Pool on Wednesday for the first day of a 3-week service project where they are teaching swim lessons and playing aquatic games with kids ages K-6 who are attending Camp Optimist. I was one of the parents who attended and I have to say I was very impressed with our Lead Crew swimmers and I'm looking forward to taking a brand-new group of swimmers this week. I'll be posting some photos from this trip on the Skyline IG and Facebook pages later today.
