Hey Skyline...what time is it? Swim Time...HUH! 

This email has some new information, in addition to reminders, so be sure to read over everything carefully. 

Indoor Preseason Practice

Indoor practices are held at Manheim Township High School Barshinger Natatorium.

May 22- June 2 at MTHS

Monday/Wednesday/Friday

ages 14-18 5-6pm ages 11-13 6-7pm

Tuesday/Thursday

ages 9-10 5-6 pm ages 5-8 (Age is as of June 1, 2023) 6-7 pm

No practice Monday May 29 Memorial Day

Enter through the main entrance of the high school so you can sign the visitor's log.  Please remember that this is pre-season so if your swimmer can only be at 1-2 practices or even none at all, it is totally fine! 

New Parents Meeting 

A brief swim parent meeting for new families will be held on May 23 at 5:30 and 6:30 (Please note the time - I originally did not list the 5:30 time) and May 24 at 5:30 and 6:30 during indoor practices. This meeting will take place in the hallway outside the pool area. This meeting is mainly for new swim team families to have questions answered.

T and T Orders (NEW)

The first round of swimsuits and caps have arrived! We will have them at the pool on Tuesday and Wednesday for anyone who will be at practice. 

Meet Availability 

If you haven't signed up for meets yet, please take a moment to complete your swimmer/s availability. There are over 65 families that currently have not done this which means your swimmer is not signed up for any meet right now. Conestoga Valley Invitational (NEW)

This invitational swim meet is optional for ALL Skyline swimmers. The CVI is held on Saturday June 10, 2023(morning) at the Leola Community Pool. The deadline to sign up your swimmer is Friday, June 2. More details about this event will be sent separately next week to those who signed up to swim at CVI. 

Welcome Back Social (NEW)

Our Welcome Back Social is scheduled for Tuesday, June 6at 6:30. We are asking any families attending to bring a dessert to share. The team will be providing paper products and water in coolers. If you are not a member of Skyline Pool, please tell them at the desk you are there for the social. We will be in the grass area on the opposite side of the pool near the sheds. This will be a chance to meet new families, board members, and coaches and have some food, fellowship, and fun! NEW THIS YEAR: Have any Skyline Spirit Wear, swimsuits, etc. that your child has outgrown? We would like to have any area where you can bring those items for you to pass on. 

Overlook Relays 

The Overlook Relays Invitational will be held on Thursday, June 15. If you are interested in purchasing an event t-shirt you can find the link here: Overlook Relays – FiP creative. Deadline for ordering is May 24 and t-shirts will not be available to purchase at the meet. 

Stroke and Turn Clinic

This year's Stroke and Turn Clinic for adults who are interested in volunteering to be trained to be a Stroke and Turn Judge will be on Sunday, June 4. More information will come - but please mark your calendars now. We CAN NOT run a meet without multiple judges and the more trained and available - the better! If you are planning to attend this Zoom clinic, please email the team ([email protected]) so we know who will be trained this season and we can forward the Zoom link to you.
