Well we’ve come to the end of an amazing summer season! Thank you everyone for all your donations, time, and support. I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say how much we love this team and our fabulous coaches. The memories from this season will live on for a very long time. 

All Leagues and Note from Coach Barb

Attached are the results from the league meet. I put the awards in the mailboxes yesterday evening along with 4 trophies (Newman's, Delaney Connors and Dylan Fessler) which are on top of the mailboxes. Most relays earned at least a ribbon so if you were at leagues, please stop and get your awards. Congrats to all. We placed 5th behind Ephrata, Landisville, Adamstown and Woodridge. The pool closes next Sunday so please stop by Sktyline and empty out your mailbox. Thanks for an amazing summer season and I hope you all have a terrific school year!! Coach Barb

Mailboxes 

The team mailboxes will be out at the pool until Sunday, August 6 at 5PM. Please stop by this week when the pool is open to double check your family folder to make sure it is empty especially if you weren’t at the banquet or you swam yesterday.

Junior Guard 

Manheim Township Parks and Recreation has reached out to ask us to communicate about a Junior Lifeguard program they are starting. The target participant are swimmer-ready kids, ages 12-15.  They are hopeful this exposure to lifeguarding will result in future consideration when these kids get a bit older and are in search of employment opportunities with MTPR, or surrounding areas. The full details are on the MTPR website, as this is only intended to catch your attention. They are planning to run these programs at Skyline and Overlook for separate sessions and 9a-12p both days. Kids would sign up for one pool or the other, and attend both days there. Please see the attached flyer  

Skyline Board 

We are looking for new board members to join the fun. We meet only 3 times a year so it isn’t a big commitment and you get to learn swim team things before everyone else and help to make decisions when the need arises. We even provide snacks. 😉 Reach out to Linda @[email protected]
