Good evening, Skyline families! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend! We have one more week of night-time practices but then we hit the ground running with our daily morning practices.

ALL PRACTICES WILL BE HELD AT SKYLINE THIS WEEK! PLEASE REMEMBER TO COME PREPARED FOR BOTH LAND AND WATER PRACTICES. THE POOL WILL BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC BUT THEY WILL HAVE LANES ROPED OFF FOR US.

SCHEDULE CHANGE (NEW)

Due to an error with the master schedule from the LSSL, our schedule for the first week of cross-over meets slightly changed. On Tuesday, June 18 our Home Meet is now against Hempfield and our Away Meet on Thursday, June 20 is now against Conestoga Valley instead of Lampeter-Strasburg (sadly this means we won't get to see Coach Anibal now).

WOODRIDGE CLASSIC (NEW)

To celebrate over 40 years of the Woodridge Classic, they are offering a commemorative t-shirt to all participants and their families.

Pre-ordered t-shirts are $15 each. You will be prompted to choose your team at checkout. There will be a minimal number of t-shirts available the day of the event.  Order Deadline: Friday, June 7th

SWIMTOPIA NOTIFICATIONS (NEW)

This week was a good test to see if you have notifications turned on for the Swim Topia App. An alert was sent out about the weather cancelling practice the other night. If you have the notifications turned on with the app you should've received an alert immediately. Anyone who doesn't have the app, will receive the alerts in the form of an email instead. Please take a moment to make sure you have notifications turned on so you can be aware of last-minute changes.

MEET AVAILABILITY (REMINDER)

If you haven't signed up for meets yet, please take a moment to complete your swimmer/s availability. Everyone needs to declare their availability/lack of availability for Overlook Relays by June 5 and Woodridge by June 7. 

VOLUNTEER SIGNUPS (REMINDER)

Volunteer signups (minus concession stand items) is now open for all meets except divisionals and leagues. You can sign up in the same spot you signed your swimmer up for meets - just look for the Job Signup Button on the SwimTopia app or you can access them here too: Meets and Events - Skyline Sharks Swim Team

WELCOME BACK SOCIAL (REMINDER)

Our Welcome Back Social is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11 at 6:30. We are asking any families attending to bring a dessert to share. The team will be providing paper products and water in coolers. If you are not a member of Skyline Pool, please tell them at the desk you are there for the social. We will be in the grass area on the opposite side of the pool near the sheds. This will be a chance to meet new families, board members, and coaches and have some food, fellowship, and fun! There will also be a table available to bring any old suits, caps, t-shirts, etc. for anyone who would like to offer them for others.
